The Strip Stick

After much thought, and before I began my first quilt using flannel strips, I purchased a 45" strip stick (I am waiting for my second strip stick, a mini, to arrive).  Never having sewn with flannel before, I did not know what a difference using the strip stick would make on my seams.  I sewed the strips together, cut them apart, resewed them into blocks and ironed them with the strip stick.  I have been sewing the blocks together and just ironing them on a wool felt pad, without the strip stick.  Such a huge difference to see the seams ironed with the strip stick and those ironed without!   Vicki S.
