About The Author
Monica Rasco is a retired children's librarian (Wimberley Village Library), a quilter, photographer, and grandmother of four exceptional grandchildren. The idea for "Goodnight Wimberley" came to her while shelving a variety of "Goodnight ......" books. The words were crafted on a few pleasant afternoons with her granddaughter, Abby Adams. Saida Jacobsen brought the book to life with her stunning illustrations of Wimberley landmarks. Miss Monica has lived in Wimberley with her husband, Jeff, since 1997. She often "thanks her lucky stars" to live in such a beautiful, friendly, and supportive community.
