Have I ever told you how much I love collage? It is so much fun, so creative and once you get in the groove and learn the techniques you can just lose yourself in the process! Though I have made other collage projects, the one that is taking me the longest is my Guardian Angel (Laura Heine) It is the painterly technique using strips of fabric, but I am adding other collage pieces to it, such as feathers in the wings, more florals, etc. I only work on it when I teach the collage class, which is why it's taking so long. But... other than a few additional flowers at her feet, it is complete. I can't wait to get it on the frame to quilt!
