April 22, 2020.... quite the year so far!

April 22, 2020

This is all so strange, isn't it?  Life was skipping along and most of us were doing the same things we do... and then...

I wish I could say that next month we would be shopping like normal again, but... I don't think it's going to happen.  Let's bare through this time knowing it won't last forever, but we can't be in a hurry to anyone's detriment.  I don't want to take any chances with your health or our own.    So... while we wait...

We are busy with mask making, mask kits, fabric and elastic sales, shipping and curbside delivery.

It is amazing how quilters, sewists and crafters come together no matter what is going on.  Ya'll have been amazing with donating masks, helping others, bringing smiles to our curbside!
I miss ya'll so much.

We are working daily to improve shopping online.  We still have photos that weren't provided by distributors.  If you see anything that needs fixed, please let me know.  I can usually fix it quickly.

  • Choose curbside or shipping.
  • $5 gift code for your next purchase with a $50 or more curbside purchase.
  • Free Shipping with $50 or more.
  • If you order before noon, Tuesday - Saturday, your purchase will be ready for curbside between noon and 4pm or shipped same day.
  • If the order is after Noon, it may be the next day for curbside, depending on the number of orders received that day.
  • We have all of our books and patterns on special. 25% OFF

MASK MAKING:  We are still getting elastic in.  We run out and get the next batch in.  Still no stabilizer.  Hopefully in a couple of weeks.

We are out of black, charcoal and dark grey fabrics and none to be found at distributors until May.
But... I have a black wide back with grey hashtag print on it that could be a good option.  I've created a FAT HALF with the wide back.  If you don't want a full 108" width, choose the FAT HALF and it will be a 54" wide x 36.  Look at the Wide Backs Here.  Scroll down at the choices of 108" or Fat Half.

We have met the healthcare facility needs we have received so far and are getting masks to the community.  If you want to drop off masks in the tote outside the gate, we will get them to those who need them, but I've heard many of you say you are SO TIRED of making masks.  We totally get it!

Do what you can but stop and sew something beautiful, too!  I've fallen behind with my free patterns on the website, but check out the ones that are there and I will hopefully have time to get back to that.  Look under the tab LAY LOW AND SEW.

We can't say this enough!
