Classes: September/ October 2019 at the Stitch Studio

Well, it's almost Autumn, but hasn't felt quite like it. Nevertheless, I'm ready! How about you?

There's a lot going on around here. I'm getting back in the swing of things after being on a 3-week vacation. I saw lots of states and Niagara Falls, Canada. Arkansas, Padukah, KY National Quilt Museum

...Superman's Metropolis, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Back to Texas.

I'm glad to be back to my shop, my team, my family and my Wimberley!

We have a several collections on sale and lots of new clearance bolts, making room for all the new fabric coming in. There is Christmas, Fall, Halloween, Brights, Children's, Flannels, Cuddle... so much to have fun with.

Today is National Sew-a-Jelly-Roll-Day and to celebrate all of our 2 1/2" strip rolls are 10% off, plus if you sign up for the $25 class, you get an extra 10% off your strips. The class is October 5, Saturday, 10-3 and you will be using your jelly roll to make "Let's Dance" by Zen Chic, pattern included in class fee. You will need to bring 2 1/2 yards background fabric, cut into 72- 6 1/2" squares, along with your strips. Sign up in store or online by Sept28

Fall Frolic Shop Hop is next weekend, September 26 - 28. Come hop in and take home a free fat quarter and pattern. We have these awesome laser-cut applique trees ready to decorate for any season. We have our Shop Hop Quilt blocks around the tree all decorated for Autumn. We added buttons to our tree so that the 'decorations' can be changed out seasonally. SEW much Fun! I made one similar years ago for a family reunion and had everyone sign a leaf to put on our Family Tree.

Color Box Block of the Month starts the 4th week of October. Registration is $25, includes the pattern and $20 monthly. You have a choice to either take the Tutorial class on the 4th Saturday with everyone or choose "Pick up" which will be the Friday before. Either way, you are going to make a gorgeous quilt! The colors are stunning and it breaks down to very easy blocks that look a lot more complex. Cathy is leading the BOM again and she makes it SEW easy. Call or come in as soon as you can to sign up for this BOM.
