Sewing 101 #2
Please sign up for the first class if you have never used a sewing machine or don't know how to maintain your machine. This is required for absolute beginner sewing. These classes are excellent for brushing up your machine skills if you have not sewn much or lack technique. You will learn to use the rotary cutter and rulers.
You will learn how to use your machine and sewing techniques while make some fun projects. Each project builds particular skills that you will use on other projects you make in the future, such as corners, envelope turns, handles, pockets, lining, zippers, yoke technique, French seams and others.
Required class: Basic Machine use, understanding, cleaning and maintaining your machine.
Following Classes:
*1-Learn to make a throw pillow cover for pillow form.
*2-Learn to make pillowcases.
*3-Learn to make a zipper bag.

| Requirements: | Requires Machine Skills Class: Working sewing machine and basic sewing tools and notions, which can be purchased as needed with your class discount. Requires discounted purchase of products. Please arrive 1/2 hour early to choose fabrics and and set up. Please check your schedule carefully. There are no refunds unless we cancel the class. If you miss a class you can take the missing class the next time it is offered. |

| Instructor Bio: | Linda has been sewing since she was a child, learning from her mother, school classes and then sewing clothing and home projects since she started her family. In 1981, she began quilting and has continued improving her skills and teaching classes. |
