Learn to Quilt: Disappearing 4-Patch
Learn about rotary cutting and sewing a 1/4" seam as you make 4-patch blocks, subcut and make a disappearing block. It's magic and makes the block look more complicated than it really is!
This can be make in any colors you choose. The one pictured is a Christmas-themed table runner or quilt.

Requirements: | Requires working sewing machine, 1/4" foot, a new sewing machine needle, quality cotton thread and bobbin, scissors, rotary cutter with a new blade, long cutting ruler and 12 1/2" square. You would need a self-healing cutting mat for home. These are the basic tools needed for making any quilt. Any supplies purchased for the class has a 10% discount. In class, you will be making the 4 blocks to make a table runner as shown below. You can keep making blocks on your own to create a lap quilt or larger. You will need 1/4 yard each of two main fabrics and 1/2 yard of background fabric (cream in picture). To finish your quilt after class, you will need 1 yard of backing fabric (or 18 x 52) and an 18 x 52 piece of batting, plus 1/3 yard binding fabric. Quilting and binding class is a separate class, if desired. |

Instructor Bio: | Linda has been quilting since 1981, learning techniques and design along the way. She began teaching classes when she worked at another quilt shop. Linda began long-arm quilting tops about 2005. in 2013, she opened Wimberley Stitch Studio Quilt Shop and enjoys teaching others what she has learned. |
