Learn to Quilt: Pineapple Pizzazz

I don't recommend tools that I don't believe in.  I was skeptical about Creative Grids at first.  Why are they so popular?  Why would I replace my other tools and rulers with Creative Grids?  Well, when I had a friend start showing me and I experimented myself I knew why.  That's when i thought that new quilters should just start out with Creative Grids tools and save themselves having to replace them with them later!  So that's my journey right now.  I want to teach new quilters not only the basics of quilting, but using Creative Grids to start!

What is the history of the pineapple quilt block?
The Pineapple variation of the Log Cabin quilt is thought to be related to eighteenth-century symbolism, in which pineapples represented hospitality
Join us and learn the basics of making a Pineapple Quilt.
Pineapple Pizzazz is the perfect choice for those of us who love scrappy. Pastels are combined with brights to create this ultimate stash buster!  Or you can choose your favorite colors to make this beautiful Pineapple Quilt!  Just twelve 10-inch blocks made with the Creative Grids Pineapple Trim Tool are required to complete the center of this quilt. Since there are no sashings and the blocks are set next to each other, they create a secondary pattern with stunning results. A follow-up class will be scheduled on layering, quilting and binding your project.

You will hopefully finish 4 blocks in class for the table topper (or runner).
