Requirements: | BRING TO CLASS: *Choose tone-on-tone or not busy fabrics* 3 - 10 1/2" squares 2 - Make two 4-patch blocks squared to 10 1/2". Cut 4- 5 1/2" squares of a light and 4 of a dark to make 2- 4-patch blocks. DO NOT SEW COMPLETED BLOCKS TOGETHER. You should have 5- 10" blocks. 1 Yard backing fabric 4- 2 1/2" x WOF strips for border 4 - 2 1/2" x WOF strips for binding *Clean sewing machine with a new needle, 1/4" quilting foot, walking foot *Rotary Cutter, long quilting ruler *Fabric Scissors *Chalk marking pen/pencil *Neutral sewing thread for piecing (recommend dove grey) and a variety of thread colors for quilting *Fill 5 or 6 bobbins with your neutral thread *There will be homework between classes. Make sure you have time to continue working on blocks you've learned. This is a practice piece that when finished will showcase your new quilting skills in a table runner, |

As her kids grew up, she pursued quilting enjoyment and built her skills with practice and classes. After 50+ years of sewing and quilting, she still loves what she does! |
