Quilt Camp - Advanced Beginners

Ages 9 and up.  Monday - Friday. These classes are not available to absolute beginners, so requires having taken the beginner sewing classes or camp first. Students must have their own machine, sewing tools and notions (thread, etc)

July Camp: We will making a Sleepover Quillow, which is an approximately 40 x 65" quilt with an attached pocket in which the quilt folds into to make a pillow that's easy to take on a sleepover or cover up for movie watching.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Ability to follow directions and safety procedures, use scissors. Basic sewing machine use and knowledge. You must have taken the beginner class or talked to Linda or Mary about your knowledge and skills.
Materials Included: Fabric for projects
Requirements: Sewing machine.Please check that it is good working order prior to class day. Good quality sewing scissors, ball or flower straight pins, frixion marking pen, thread and bobbins (kit available - $35) Student may purchase any other product during classes for 10% student discount.
Instructor: Mary Daily
Instructor Bio: Mary Daily has years of experience working with adults and children. She loves sharing her sewing knowledge with them.
5 - 3 hour classes of instruction.
