Kid's Camp- Advanced Beginners

Ages 9 and up.  Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.   2 1/2 hour classes for students who know how to sew.  These classes are not available to absolute beginners, so requires having taken the beginner sewing classes or camp first.  Each of these camps stand individually.  All fabrics are included.  Students must have their own machine, sewing tools and notions (thread, etc)

June Camp:  We will be making Sleepover projects: overnight bag, sleep shorts and more depending on students ability. (Need size at registration.)

July Camp:  We will making a Sleepover Quillow, which is an approximately 40 x 65" quilt with an attached pocket in which the quilt folds into to make a pillow that's easy to take on a sleepover or cover up for movie watching.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Ability to follow directions and safety procedures, use scissors.
Materials Included: Fabric for projects
Requirements: Sewing machine.Please check that it is good working order prior to class day. Good quality sewing scissors, ball or flower straight pins, frixion marking pen, thread and bobbins (kit available - $25) Student will have several choices of fabric for projects, but if you'd like any other fabric you can purchase with 10% student discount.
Instructor: Mary Daily
Instructor Bio: Mary Daily has years of experience working with children and loves sharing her sewing knowledge with them.
5 * 2 1/2 hour classes of instruction.
