Have you been dying to make your own Artisan Quilt? How many times have you seen the beautiful landscapes, portraits and mural style quilts at art shows, quilts shows and exhibits and said, "I want to do that!" Well, now you can. Spend 3 Days and 2 nights at the beautiful Bella Vida Bed and Breakfast.
This retreat focuses on the beautiful artwork of Susan Cranshaw to make your own raw-edge artisan applique.
Susan’s technique teaches you the step-by-step process to take the detailed images in each of her patterns and make your own stunning applique quilt. Once you have mastered the skills to learn these techniques the sky is the limit from there.
About Susan: Susan Cranshaw is a national teacher and pattern designer who has made her home in the beautiful hill country of Texas and Wimberley. Susan's art work is a stunning illustration of her point of view from her travels and the 6 years she spent living in a small artist's town in Mexico. Each pattern comes with detailed instructions and drawings to show how to layer and apply each piece to perfection. Along with the detailed instructions from one-on-one coaching from Susan, retreaters will be able to grow and enhance their skills as artisans. Susan has traveled teaching for many years throughout the US and Canada teaching her techniques.
Through semi-retirement has she found her new home exclusively at the Wimberley Stitch Studio. Though her creativity still flows with new pattern designs coming in the near future her timeless patterns are exciting and come with the opportunity to build your skills to a next level.
